D5 Architects

I been checking out the D5 Architects where they are based in Birmingham. They have designed several buildings in my home town 'Bromsgrove.' The bromsgrove new college and the harley davidson acadmy.
From my investigation, this firm puts the shame in architecture, as they design is shambolic!

Tree Mono painting

Practicing my mono-painting skills.The project that I am doing 'beauty of life after death' represent a light and dark tone. Therefore I want to brand the project in this way, by using this technique. Where it captures the rigourous essecence of the drawing lines. This same goes as the people who past away in a melochony mood.
I have done this before during my a-level art, and it works well and it has worked well again. I will applied this to this project and future projects as well.

A good book to read

This book is a useful and comprehensive discussion about houses. Examining the different typologies of the domestic and the utopian.

Peka Kucha

3ds Max Course

Learning 3ds Max, in the computer lab on the 4th floor in the library. Its not going to be easy, but it is vital for future career as alot of architectural practices uses them in their design.

First day didnt go too bad, was abit slow. Best way to do better is to practice what I have learnt at home.

CABE Competition

Entering in the CABE photograpgy competition, the first one above shows, the urban environment we live in, telling about someones life when they get bak from work. Having a cigerettes letting all the stress turn away.
The second picture tells a story of a man sitting in his bedroom. It induce a powerful touch with the yellow flowers as a symbol of grave desire that our favourate place is where we cherish the most, which is his bedroom.

A visit to Manchester

Seeing sights of Manchester Architecture rich heritage, such as the beetham tower (above) by ian simpson architects, the imperial war musesum, manchester civil justice courts and many more others.
This is a far cry in what leeds have to offer
